a moment's silence..
sunday morning. its exactly noon and we're supposed to observe a minute of silence to commemorate those involved the recent tragedy that is the tidal waves.. i don't mean to bring down the celebrations of the new year but the deaths of several thousands is just not something to be ignored while people go around wishing everyone a "happy" new year.. what's exactly happy about this year? its just not right. that's how i feel anyway..
had some events occuring during the week before new year's day. first of all, there was the unity sec sch's reunion dinner. me and a few other frens had planned it last minute. and we took some killer pics (killer.. hmm..) since we didn't want to waste our overdressing efforts. i'll post them up soon.. maybe.
mdm toh, the personal mentor of cpt0405, had asked me to collect donations for the tidal wave disaster.. it was since wednesday. but i forgot abt it and jin mei told me i had til the next day's morning to collect from the class. i thought it was a lost cause.. maybe i had asked the guys to donate too often.. we had just contributed to an SEG student who had a brain infection. but i should've never given up hope on the class.. within an hour, i managed to collect a total of about 160 dollars from the class. with average donations amountin to 7 each head. like they say, its not the amount that matters, its the thought.
its sunday alreadi and i still have not started on either the organic report or the semestral project. and worst of all, i'm the class rep of a great class. guess i need to buck up. i'm just waiting for bertie to come online and get me started on smth. i duwanna waste effort reseraching on wrong stuffs. what was my topic again.. o yeah, manufacturing processes in the chemical industry. wonder what we're gunna do about. i bet there's tons of processes that's available. kinda sad no nid formal clothers this semester ehehs. i love dresssing up. to a certain extent. =p
well, i gotta help mommie with some of house stuffs.. missing my ger very very much oreadi. just 2 days can u believe it? sickening right? hohos. hope she gets her handphone fixed soon.. loveyalots sayangies. muahkies.
